Young Toddlers – Eric Carle’s The Very Hungry Caterpillar

The Young Toddler Classroom is filled with caterpillars!

The Young Toddlers began their Spring Unit with Eric Carle’s The Very Hungry Caterpillar.

The Young Toddlers created caterpillars using construction paper, googly eyes, pipe cleaners and pom-poms… The caterpillars are 3D and crawling off the bulletin board!

The Young Toddlers also created caterpillars out of clothespins, googly eyes and pom-poms… These caterpillars like to cling onto our Young Toddler friends.

The Young Toddler teachers also cut out foam apples to use as finger puppets for the Young Toddlers! The toddlers use their finger puppets during circle time to act out the very hungry caterpillar eating an apple!

The Young Toddlers helped their teachers make a very hungry caterpillar out of balloons! The caterpillar is floating around the Young Toddler classroom… Looking for something to eat!
