My First Yoga
Infants, Toddlers& Preschoolers – Mondays at 9:00 a.m.
My First Yoga is dedicated to challenging children physically and creatively to inspire character growth. Our programs provide the appropriate structure, guidance and support necessary to engage students through activities that stretch mind and body while improving focus. Classes take place every Monday morning at Yal-Day-New.
Infant Classes use age-appropriate techniques to stimulate and soothe. Instructors massage and help children gently stretch while singing favorite nursery rhymes. Infants build the strength and flexibility needed to reach age-appropriate physical milestones.
Toddler Classes combine inviting movements, songs and relaxation techniques. Poses and activities that quickly become familiar favorites are repeated to encourage mastery while new poses and activities are introduced to stimulate and challenge. Toddlers build developmental skills such as: turn taking, counting and picture recognition and gross motor skills such as: jumping, balancing, and body awareness.
Preschool Classes engage students’ natural curiosity through the use of movement-based stories and exciting themes.Threaded through tales of pirates, space exploration and nature are teachable moments during which children are able to voice their own thoughts and questions.
