The Young Toddlers just completed a one-week Big Book Unit!
Each day, the Young Toddlers enjoyed a different Big Book, including "Silly Sally" by Audrey Wood, "Me Too!" by Mercer Mayer, "Good Morning, Chick!" by Mirra Ginsburg and "I Love Animals" by Flora McDonnell.
The Young Toddlers also decorated a coloring page using crayons, dot paint and stickers correlating with the Big Book of the day!
Although this unit is simple, it's an absolutely favorite with the toddlers! Big Books are exciting and support shared reading as well as reading aloud in the classroom.
